Fraud attempts whereby an unauthorized person uses the Adecco name have been reported in a number of differing countries in the past. Please be aware that NO Adecco representative will ever request payment from you during a job search or a selection process.

Here are a couple of examples of how those attempting to commit fraud may attempt to get in touch with you in order to obtain information or compensation from you (again, these are just a couple examples):

  • These persons may place job advertisements on general market websites using the name ‘Adecco’ without our permission.

  • These persons may use e-mails, letters, telephone calls and other communication methods pretending to be Adecco.

Protect Yourself

Before releasing any personal information or other details during a job search process, make sure your contact is an authorised Adecco representative. You can confirm this by getting in touch with an Adecco office in your country and verifying the details of the Adecco contact. Find the locations here. Again, note that Adecco will never request payment from you during a job search or a selection process.

Beware of any unexpected e-mail, instant message, voicemail, fax, or other communication that claims to be from Adecco. If you receive such a message, get in touch with an Adecco office in your country and verify that the message is legitimate.

If you believe that you have been victim of fraud or that you have been exposed to a fraudulent attempt, we strongly recommend that you report the incident to local authorities.
